About Us

The College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) has a long history of engagement in international knowledge, learning, exchange, and collaboration. With a strong record and distinguished history in institutional capacity building in various developing countries as well as consistent and vibrant world-wide scientific, educational, and outreach activities, ACES Study Abroad provides international opportunities to ACES students at the University of Illinois. Our experienced staff is available to support, assist and guide ACES faculty, staff, students, and advisers, in developing programs that maximize a student's learning experience abroad. These opportunities range from faculty-led, summer short programs to a semester abroad. Illinois is a leading public university for students participating in study abroad, and nearly 35 percent of ACES graduates have an international experience by the time they graduate.
