The minor in Animal Sciences is designed to provide students with a basic understanding and knowledge of a discipline/subject matter area of their choice. Subject matter areas include animal production and management, nutrition, genetics, animal behavior, immunology, meat science/muscle biology, microbiology, reproductive physiology, and molecular biology. A minimum of 20 hours of Animal Sciences courses must be completed for this minor.
