ACES Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program

Since 1982, the College of ACES has supported the ACES Undergraduate Research Scholarship Program to provide research opportunities for qualified sophomores, juniors, and seniors who demonstrate superior academic ability and a strong interest in the agricultural, consumer, and environmental sciences.

Priority Filing Dates for ACES Undergraduate Research Proposals

To facilitate timely processing of the $500 merit scholarship associated with an ACES Undergraduate Research grant, students are encouraged to submit their proposals to the Honors Desk in 128 Mumford Hall by the following Priority Filing Dates. Applications received after these Priority Filing Dates will still receive full consideration, but the accompanying merit scholarship might not be posted to the student's account in time for crediting by the first billing date of the academic term.

  • For Undergraduate Research Projects Beginning in Summer 2014: Monday, June 2, 2014 @ 5:00 PM (CDT)
  • For Undergraduate Research Projects Beginning in Fall 2014: Monday, September 8, 2014 @ 5:00 PM (CDT)
  • For Undergraduate Research Projects Beginning in Spring 2015: Monday, February 2, 2015 @ 5:00 PM (CST)
