Joint Degree Programs

Joint degree programs allow students to earn two degrees in less time by engaging in them concurrently. 

ITOPP (Illinois Transdisciplinary Obesity Prevention Program)
ITOPP allows students to earn a Master's of Public Health in addition to a Ph.D. in one of the ACES departments of Food Science and Human Nutrition, Human Development and Family Studies or the Division of Nutritional Sciences. Apply to ITOPP!

M.S. NRES / J.D. LAW
Prospective students with an interest in specializing in environmental or natural resource law are invited to explore a new joint degree program at the University of Illinois. Students in this program earn a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences and a J.D.in Law.

Veterinary Scholars Program
This program allows students to earn a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and a Ph.D. in a related field such as Animal Sciences, Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences or Nutritional Sciences. Learn more!
