Transfer Students: Completing Your Bachelor's Degree in ACES

WHY ACES? At the College of ACES, you can gain research expertise as you study under world-class faculty, take advantage of career planning via the College’s Office of Student Development and Career Services, and participate in your choice of more than 40 ACES student organizations. And if you want to explore the world, ACES is the way to go! About 30 percent of the students in the College of ACES study abroad. The College of ACES is a place where you can gain leadership skills, knowledge, and social networks necessary to achieve your goals. Depending on your chosen major, core courses required for transfer into the College of ACES will vary.

Filing Period: 9/1–10/15
Admission Decision: By mid-December


Priority Filing Period: 9/1–2/1*
Final Application Deadline: 3/1
Admission Decision: By mid-April
* Applicants to more competitive programs may receive priority by applying before the February 1 deadline.

Plan your transfer to ACES at Illinois as early as your first day of community college. Pre-advising is available to help you identify an intended major and select courses that will not only make you eligible for admission to Illinois, but also meet requirements for your bachelor’s degree.
