GLOBE will connect Blue members (experienced domestic and international students) with Orange members (new international students) and team them up in small groups to participate in various activities and events. The goal of GLOBE is to provide opportunities for domestic and international students to network and develop leadership skills and to “help all students develop global awareness and cultural competency.” Learn how you can get involved in GLOBE.
iCU features individual stories by international students shared among international and domestic students. The goal of iCU is to provide opportunities for domestic and international students to engage in meaningful interaction.
With more than 1,400 organizations at the U of I, you are sure to find at least one that excites you and matches your interests and hobbies. If by some chance you don't find one to join, then go ahead and just start your own!
The Office of Volunteer Programs (OVP) promotes service by encouraging students to donate their time and volunteer for the university and local communities. OVP pairs students with opportunities where they gain invaluable experience through public engagement.

Since 1942, IUB has served as the voice of the students and has advised administration on building policies and procedures. If it's happening at the Union, IUB is helping it happen. And while board members are planning it all, their knowledge of governance and outreach is growing tenfold.
