This job fair provides companies, institutes and government agencies an opportunity to meet agribusiness and science students at all levels. The career fair will give representatives from your company a chance to share information about your career and intern opportunities.
Volunteer shifts start before the fair, continue during and also after the fair ends. If you would like to see what the fair is like and help make the fair a success, consider volunteering. To ensure a t-shirt, be sure to register by Sept. 25th.

Schedule of Events
July 25, 2016 – Early bird registration and payment deadline
September 15, 2016 – Registration fee due – unpaid reservations may be cancelled
September 15, 2016 – Last day to cancel with refund minus $75 administrative fee
September 30, 2016 – Packages may begin arriving at the ARC
The standard registration fee includes one career fair booth space (8’ x 5’), electricity, wireless internet, lunch for two recruiters, and parking in lot E-14 with a shuttle to the ARC. You have the option of purchasing one additional career fair booth space and additional lunches (if you need more than two) when registering.
The event sponsor fee includes all of the standard registration items, as well as the following benefits: prime booth location at the fair, two reserved parking spaces in lot E-24, the opportunity to participate in pre-career fair First Impression Event, and recognition of your support on the website and marketing materials.

If you have scheduled interviews for October 9th, the day after the career fair, we will provide details to your team on the day of the fair. All interviews on Oct. 9th will be in the ARC. We will provide one parking hang tag for each interview booth.
Over 1000 job and internship seeking students are expected to attend the ACES and Sciences Career Fair. Students will range from undergraduate to post-doc and come from a wide variety of agricultural and science disciplines.
Academic Majors/Areas of Job Seekers
Displays and materials may be shipped directly to the ARC. Materials will only be accepted up to one week before the event. Your packages should arrive no earlier than September 30, 2016.
All packages must be clearly marked with your organization’s name and “ACES and Sciences Career Fair.”
If your representatives will be shipping displays and materials back from the Career Fair at the conclusion of the event, be sure they have an account number for your preferred vendor (UPS, FedEx, DHL). Materials can be picked up by your vendor at the ARC at the loading dock door. You are responsible for calling your vendor for pick-up.

Travel by Car
The University of Illinois is easily accessible by using Interstate 74, Interstate 72, or Interstate 57.
Travel by Air
The University of Illinois is serviced by the University of Illinois Willard Airport (CMI) which has American Eagle as a major carrier. CMI is located about 5 miles southwest of the University of Illinois. It offers a variety of ground transportation options including taxi service and onsite car rentals from Avis, Budget, Hertz, and National.
Other major airports within a 160-mile radius of Champaign-Urbana include: Chicago O’Hare (4 hour drive), Chicago Midway (3 ½ hour drive), Bloomington (50 minute drive), and Indianapolis (2 hour drive).
Career Fair event sponsors will have two reserved spaces with their company name bagged over the meter in Lot E-24 which is on the west side of the ARC (SW corner of First and Peabody). All other parking is to be directed to Lot E-14 (corner of First and Kirby). Be sure to park south of the "Blue Line". Shuttles will be transporting recruiters to/from E-14 to the ARC. It is strongly suggested that you unload your materials at the ARC before parking in E-14. Volunteers will be on hand to unload materials at the ARC beginning at 10:00 am. We will tow anyone parking in a bagged meter that is not authorized to do so.
