Make an Appointment

To make a career coaching appointment, contact Jean Drasgow at jdrasgow@illinois.edu.

What is Career Coaching?
Career coaching is guiding the student in planning and managing their career. The focus of career coaching is future-oriented where students are in the driver's seat. The career coach will ask lots of questions to help the student develop a manageable action plan. To ease the feeling of being overwhelmed, the meetings will be about 30 minutes in length. A student is allowed to meet with a career coach multiple times as long as the student is meeting the action steps they set.

Does this sound like what you need? If so, contact Jean Drasgow at jdrasgow@illinois.edu.

Mock Interview Appointments

ACES Mock Interviews are scheduled through I-Link. We provide two tailored-to-the-student, behavior-based mock interveiw appointments per week. Please be sure your resume is uploaded in I-Link. We prefer to know the job title and name of employer if possible to make the interview as effective as possible. If you cannot get an appointment with ACES Career Sevices within your timeframe, you may try the main campus career center to schedule a  mock interview.

If you would like to be evaluated on your professional dress, please dress in professional attire.
